Large Database Site

Many large web sites are database driven, purely because of their nature of having 10,000 of pages. As technology improves, the demands of the consumer to find information instantly online is growing. Providing 10,000 pages instantly online has it draw backs, and a page rendered from a database will always be slower then a basic ASCII HTML page , as it is quicker to server a ready file then to generate it on the fly.
